Description:
As
a Recruiting Consultant, you would employ your skills relevent to human
behavior and manage the recruitment process on every front for each of
your open positions, from the initial requisition intake all the way
through to salary negotiations. This role is highly instrumental in the
development of our business, as you would utilize your consultative
sales expertise to drive additional business as you interact with
Hiring Managers.

Responsibilities for this position include:
- Participation on Project Team as high performing Recruiting resource
- Responsible for sourcing, screening, and profiling candidates for various positions.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including response
management, database mining, diversity channels, cold calling and
networking.
- Manage daily production through Augustine's applicant tracking system
- Responsible for obtaining thorough knowledge regarding client,
industry, and candidate pool in order to effectively sell opportunities
to applicants
- Meet weekly production goals as set by Project Director
regarding phone time, candidate submittals, interviews, offers, and
hire
- Participate in Augustine recruiter training on a weekly basis
- Communicating effectively with hiring managers, explaining who
we are and how we work and developing an understanding the Hiring
Manager’s hiring needs
- Establishing job specifications, qualifications and skills
and developing appropriate marketing strategy to attract high quality
candidates
- Defining roles and responsibilities of the hiring team and
setting expectations for the recruitment process, consulting with and
advising on best practices and redirecting and influencing when
necessary to advance the search
- Reviewing applications and interviewing applicants to obtain
work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements
as well as provide information about the organization and position
- Evaluating candidates against job requirements, selling
candidates on the opportunity and presenting qualified candidates to
the Hiring Manager
- Managing the hiring process for selected candidates,
including arranging interviews, debriefing the candidate and Hiring
Manager, submitting background checks, negotiating offers, generating
offer letters and onboarding candidates
- Bringing in new business by providing exceptional
responsiveness and customer service and building long term
relationships with client companies to secure additional job openings
- Developing internal and external business acumen for
assigned business group, researching industry competitors and remaining
aware of market conditions to develop better sourcing strategies
Background and Experience Required:
- A minimum of a
Bachelors degree in psychology, social services or related field or 2+
years of proven recruitment experience is required
- Experience sourcing, assessing and recruiting candidates at
all levels of an organization (including Management and Executive
positions) and within at least two of the following functional areas
and industries (i.e., IT, Finance, Engineering, Sales, Clinical) is
required
- Experience working in a customer-facing professional business environment with director-level clients and above is required
- Experience is preferred in the areas of screening resumes and
conducting behavioral interviews, requisition intakes and reference
checks
- Experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred and proficiency with MS Office Suite is required
- Experience leading a recruitment process and team is ideal
- Strong consultative sales abilities are a must have
- Great attention to detail and accuracy and excellent planning
and organizational skills are essential, as are a high level of
discipline and a sense of urgency
