Position Details:
As a Healthcare Representative, you will be responsible for
calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, managed care and other
health-related organizations/personnel within the temporary territory.
Provide the most current information pertaining to US Pharmaceutical
products and their approved indications in a manner which will ensure
the appropriate use of these products and achieve the business
potential of the territory. Day to day responsibilities include
promoting Company's product line, detailing products to primary care
doctors and pharmacists (base of about 300), making at least 8-10
presentations to doctors per day, building relationships and rapport
with doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Key Capabilities:
Territory Optimization - Analysis of report data to understand the
marketplace and physicians in the territory. Prioritize and adapt
their call schedules based on business opportunities. Keep track of
relationships by doing pre-call planning and tracking and analyzing the
outcomes of calls. Set goals and write business plans in order to meet
or surpass sales quotas or increase market share.
Selling Skills & Customer Value Delivery - Work daily with
customers influencing their prescribing habits to drive sales through
the effective execution of the Company Selling Model and 3rd party
support programs. Build relationships, develop speakers as advocates
for Company products, leverage resources, provide value added services,
and educate physicians.
Team Contribution - Proactively coordinate with teammates
collaborating on initiatives together and brainstorming ways to impact
physician's prescribing habits. Share information and coordinate
promotional programs and adjust call plans. Continually update
teammates and act as a team player. Work throughout Company's matrix.
Qualifications:
4 year degree or equivalent pharmaceutical sales experience required. Sales experience preferred.
