- Preparing and designing system requirements, operator interfaces, safety application logic, and failure analyses for a Safety Digital Control System for installation into a Nuclear Power Plant.
- Design and implement I&C Digital Control Systems for Nuclear Power Plants
- Assist in defining system requirements, develop system logic, and define control parameters to satisfy requirements
- Configure control systems using standard modules and automated configuration tools.
- System integration of hardware and software platforms
- Prepare documentation such as requirements, test procedures, instruction manuals, etc.
- Must be able to obtain site access at a nuclear power plant.
- Ensures Compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
- Evaluates, select and applies a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making adaptions and modifications.
- Continues to develop knowledge of organization processes and customers.
- Works on special projects, as directed.
- Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.

- BS Degree in Engineering, or computer Science. Must have a minimum of 4 years of direct software engineering experience. An advanced degree (MS or PhD) may substitute for 1-2 or 1-3 years of related work experience.
- Must have exp. with application software for industrial I&C Systems or process plant computer systems . (For example - software for digital I&C systems, I.,e. Trichonix, Westinghouse, General Electric, Invensys.).
- Min. of 9 yrs Exp. with PLC's and microprocessor based systems required.
- Advanced knowledge of related engineering standard, techniques and criteria.
- Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

- Exp with Teleperm XS
- Must have knowledge of computers including MS Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint
- Understanding of Digital Control Systems (Hardware and Software) activities
- Previous Safety Digital I & C Experience Preferred
- LINUX experience a plus
- Previous experience working in a Nuclear Environment Preferred
