Description:
Our client's Platforms team is seeking individuals with proven supply chain
experience for the implementation and refinement of a new supply chain
model in support of key goals and objectives. This individual
will lead cross functional teams, including supplier partners, to
complete the development, implementation and ongoing optimization of a
leading edge supply chain model in support of supply chain
strategies.
Locations: CA, WA, MA, NY, NJ, CT
Responsibilities:
- Drive definition and implementation of automated replenishment and inventory related information.
- Determination and management of optimal safety stock levels network-wide.
- Development of financial models to analyze cost/benefit tradeoffs.
- Interface with strategic suppliers and key internal functions.
- Promotion of lean supply chain principles and continuous operational improvements.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in EE, CS or equivalent.
- Previous work experience in supply chain operations/manufacturing.
- Business process and/or application configuration knowledge with supply chain.
- Experience in industrial engineering or business operations.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to successfully work across multiple levels of an organization.
